Advance Investments chosen charity for 2020 is the Royal United Hospital (RUH) in Bath, and most particularly the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The neonatal unit provides care for premature and sick term newborn babies.
In August 2019, our Finance Director found out first-hand how fantastic the NICU team can be when her baby boy was born 6 weeks premature. The NICU team cared for him for a week until he was able to go home.
This year, we are taking part in several challenges to raise funds for our chosen charity. The Bristol 10k run in May 2020, our annual challenge involving a team cycling to each employee house and a team challenge in August (to be confirmed!!)
